Clued Up 3






These are the characters that us as a group decided we should have. We all then got given a character or get a background story name and age. These characters were just names but each person with their roles had to build on them to make them a believeable character.










These are spider diagrams of each room with what items are needed for each room. All the items in the rooms were gathered from the lesson before then it was shared with everyone else. This was done so that the whole group could decided if we should or shouldn't have the items. This was also shared to the whole group so that people could see what props we have that are needed for each rooms.










In this lesson we were given a list of props to look for over the christmas holidays. we were also given our characters, we had to begin giving the characters a background story aswell as what they would be wearing in them times. We were also given ways to get in to character for example watching Downton Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs.

Clued up lesson 2



This sheet was given to us and we disscused what it says. This helped us get an image of what room will be what, it explained to us what our plan is for the rooms and what we was doing in that lesson.











This is a sheet that my group created in the lesson. We were given the Dance Lab that is the bedroom. As a group we decided what we wanted in the rooms and what we picture it to look like. The words in bold are the items that we would like in the bedroom. We decided as a group that the bed is facing the smart board with the head rest by the wall. There will be a bedside table, table lamp, small family photo, curtains/drapes, wardrobe,dressing table, ticking clock, hair brush, jewellery music box, victorian rug, memory box and chamber pot.







Lesson 2
In this lesson we were given a sheet telling us what rooms will be what. We then got put in to groups. In these groups we had to do some research in to the rooms we r going to have. We had to think and research about the room and what they would look like to make the room believeable without a budget. In my group i was with Teri and Chloe, we got given the dance lab which will be turned in to a bedroom and everyone had to think about what would go in to the acting studio. We got on the computers to have a look at what would a victoria bedroom would look like to help us create this room and make it believeable with no budget. With the items we want in the room we had to think about where we could get them from, certain items can be from home and others can be made. We made sure that the items were no so complicated as some items could be made. We gave our ideas in and we had feed back. We wanted to have a rocking chair, then was then decided that it would be better if it was placed in the lounge/singing room.

Clued Up







In this image it talks about the old victorian times. We used this as research to get some ideas for Clued Up.


This photo has all the ideas that all 3 groups gave to the group altogether. This helped us combine all the ideas to create one story line.


Research
The research that we did in our smaller groups we looked at costume and looked online at stories and youtube clips for us to bring out our own ideas to share for the group.

Some of the ideas my group came up with was having the place as a house for sale, with the tour guide as the murder. The rooms that we had we came up with the ideas of having the Theatre as a ballroom, the dance studio was a master bedroom, acting studio was a library/office. The

last room we are using is the singing room, it has a piano in it so we are linking it in to our story of having the tour guide humming a song, and then the song gets played ont he piano.

Strengths and weaknesses
The strength that the group had today was communication as we listened to each others ideas because of this it made it easier to grather a story.

The weakness of todays lesson was that we took a long time to sit as a group to say our ideas.

My Strengths and weaknesses
My Strength in todays lesson was i gave in my ideas and listened to everyone elses ideas and my weaknesses was that i kept on talking and thorwing my ideas without thinking behind it.

Next Lessons
For the next lesson i would like to take our communication skills and make them better and make the next lesson quicker so that we get more work done.
